Reggio Children is an international centre for the defence and promotion of children’s rights and potentials. It was created with the intention of valorising and safeguarding the experience of Reggio Emilia’s Municipal Infant-Toddler Centres and Preschools, known in Italy and throughout the world as the Reggio Emilia Approach®.
Memory as future: Reggio Emilia celebrates the anniversaries of education
The year 2026 marks a constellation of special anniversaries for Reggio Emilia’s education system: 20 years since the opening of the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre, 20 years since the first Reggionarra event, 20 years since the birth of the Reggio Children International Network together with the 50th anniversary of seven infant-toddler centres.
