With the start of the new school year, the Reggio Emilia education system is launching a number of solidarity initiatives in favour of the infant-toddler centres and preschools in the municipalities of Cesena, Cattolica and Modigliana.
Following the events of May, it is important to guarantee children the right to live experiences of play, discovery and learning in welcoming and quality environments.
As of today, a fundraising campaign has been opened in favour of the Municipality of Cesena to restore the outdoor infrastructures of the infant-toddler centres and preschools damaged by water and mud.
Together with the Municipalities of Cattolica and Modigliana, a path of pedagogical co-designing was also started up with the aim of designing workshops and ateliers to encourage children to elaborate on the exceptional events they experienced, starting from the difficult questions that children ask themselves during events such as those that affected Romagna.
