Chiara Spaggiari

Teacher

Chiara Spaggiari has been a teacher at the “Gianni Rodari” municipal infant-toddler centre, Istituzione of Preschools and Infant-toddler centres of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, since 2010. She collaborates with Reggio Children in professional learning seminars and workshops, in Italy and abroad.

She took her Specialist Degree in Pedagogical Sciences at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

She began work as an educator in Spain in 2008 at Barcelona’s “Piccolo Mondo” Infant-toddler centre and preschool. This is where she began her deeper research on the theme of relations, and on learning in children aged 0-6 in multi-cultural, multi-lingual, relational contexts.

In her professional life she has collaborated with several international volunteer projects in the area of formal and non-formal education.

She participated in a course for Volunteers in International Co-operation promoted by Modena municipality and the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
