Shoe of the future

The shoe that goes into space  

There was a shoe and clothes shop in Cella: it was big and all yellow, because yellow is the colour of Cella. One day a little girl came into the shop with her mother and big brother. Then the little girl saw a beautiful, shiny shoe, she wanted to try it on, she put it on and .... it flew away, into the sky, because she put on the shoe that flies in space!

Do you know how this shoe flies? There are fires underneath that make you fly and you don't come down until they are turned off. The sole, however, is waterproof so the little girl didn't burn the soles of her feet.

The little girl in space heard small sounds, maybe it was aliens?

She saw stars, space that was all black, the moon, planets like Jupiter, Mars... and she also saw the Earth! The Earth was of all colours, green and blue, but also yellow like the leaves that are about to fall and other colours.

The girl stayed in space for two hours, but then she wanted to see her family and parents again. So she pressed a button, turned off the engines and slowly descended.

She was with her parents and went to hug them. She said ‘that was epic!’ because she was very happy. She told her parents everything and then took the shoes to the till and bought them.

She’ll use them when she wants to take another little trip into space.
