The San Lazzaro Park has become a large open-air atelier, where we have carried out relational, sensorial and motor research and experiences, around the ideas of beauty, transformation, nature and care. A vision of the park as a sensitive context, to bring together values, meanings and experiences between La Villetta School and the San Lazzaro Mental Health Centre.

A special and extraordinary tree such as the oak, which has a powerful history, becomes a symbol of rebirth and a witness to our relationship with ‘The Friends of the Mental Health Centre workshops’.

This relationship and path of encounter between the school and San Lazzaro has fostered moments of social cohesion, exchange between different professions, contamination of knowledge between educational and health services in relation to each other.

The immense skills of the Friends of the Centre in bringing objects-structures back to life have left traces in the school park, as a sign of a relationship made up of exchanges.
