Seed

Hackberry fruit

This is at my house, it’s pearl blue. Martina, age 5
It looks like a seed that still has to grow. The shape’s very similar to a wisteria seed but this one is pointed. Emma, 5 years old

I think that it came from the park and was born attached to a plant. Gaia, 5 years old
Or from a tree, it may be a growing fruit. Emma, 5 years old
It looks like a blueberry! Gaia, 5 years old

Micro mushrooms

Galls on the hackberry

There are micro mushrooms on top on these leaves, and the micro mushrooms make the leaf die. Samuele, 5 years old

I think there are leaf blisters like a tree disease. Amy, 5 years old
They’re like balls filled with water. They were born there because maybe they make the other leaves grow. Gaia, 5 years old

Sand leaf

Eleagno, Eleagnus

This leaf looks like a sand leaf, it looks like it’s covered with sand. Martina, 5 years old
It’s different from other leaves! Because leaves usually don’t have dots! Maybe the dots are to decorate the leaf. Sofia A., 5 years old

This looks like a multicolored leaf. Amy, 5 years old
Maybe some insect went on it with all the little hairs and the little hairs fell on the plants. Martina, 5 years old
The dots I make look like carnival confetti. Maybe they make the plant more beautiful and they have a special effect! Samuele, 5 years old
