Unusual signs for looking in new directions.
The city, through a universe of signs and signals, speaks to children, and children try to understand it.
But what if children invented new street signs?
OPEN THE MAP
Children have a real passion for these messages encountered while walking around the city and manifested through writing, pictures, and symbols drawn on the ground or on signs.
You could make a traveling sign that invites people to go to a special place, says Isacco, 4 years old.
And here are new road signs, invented and made by the children of Balducci School, that suggest new and surprising actions and thoughts: they are “street invitations” because they invite those in the street to look with new and different eyes at the world around us.
