A Day at the Centre + Atelier

An introduction to the Reggio Emilia Approach® with the opportunity to explore the educational potential of the exhibition spaces at the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre, including classroom presentations, exhibitions and ateliers.

Participants: minimum 10 – maximum 45
Cost: EUR 180 per person (including English interpreter)
Note: no extra or personal interpreter allowed
Lunch: it is available at the restaurant of the International Centre, Pause–Atelier of Tastes (lunch is not included in the participation fee)

Programme

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Introduction to the values, history and organisation of the Infant-toddler Centres and Preschools of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia.

12:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Guided tour through the spaces and ateliers of the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre.

1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Lunch break and free time to visit the bookshop.

2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The “Culture of the Atelier”: practical experience in one of the Atelier of the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre.
