A Day at the Centre

An introduction to the Reggio Emilia Approach® with the opportunity to explore the educational potential of the exhibition spaces at the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre, including classroom presentations, exhibitions and ateliers.

When: Monday to Friday
Duration: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Participants: minimum 10 – maximum 60
Cost: EUR 70 per person (including interpreting service) – EUR 60 per person (without interpreting)
Lunch: it is available at the restaurant of the International Centre, Pause–Atelier of Tastes (lunch is not included in the participation fee)

Programme

10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Introduction to the values, history and organisation of the Infant-toddler Centres and Preschools of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia.

1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Lunch break and free time to visit the bookshop, exhibitions and ateliers (based on availability of access to spaces).

Between 1:00 and 2:30 p.m., the restaurant of the International Centre, Pause–Atelier of Tastes, will be open. A special menu can be arranged by writing to info@pausesrl.it
The cost of lunch is not included in the participation fee. It is not possible to reserve seats at the restaurant.

3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
In-depth discussions, questions and answers in the classroom along with a pedagogista from the International Centre or a teacher from the infant-toddler centres or preschools of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia.
