Reggio Children | Centro Internazionale Loris Malaguzzi | Reggio Emilia Approach

November International Study Group

"Knowing where you are, where you find yourself, helps you to develop a sense of your own identity and your place in the world… Every place has its own spirit, its own past and its own aspirations." Jerome Bruner

Reggio Children manages an extensive network of cultural exchanges both nationally and internationally, which take on concrete form in activities in a number of specific areas, all interrelated. Research, in addition to being one of the founding activities of Reggio Children, is the approach that characterizes each area of work.

Reggio Children is promoting for the fall 2019 a professional development initiative on the Reggio Emilia Approach, a study opportunity for deeper investigation into the concepts, contents, and values that are part of the educational project of the Municipal Infant-toddler Centers and Preschools of Reggio Emilia.

The course has the aim of investigating the different professional educational profiles from many different points of view: responsibilities, roles, organization, strategies of work, collegiality, professional development and self professional development, research and projections of the work.
