REMIDA, the Creative Recycling Centre, a project of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia and AGAC (now IREN Emilia), was opened in 1996 in Reggio Emilia, managed by the International Association Friends of Reggio Children (now Reggio Children – Loris Malaguzzi Centre Foundation). This ecological, ethical, educational, aesthetic and economic challenge and the many different activities of REMIDA have also become a published series describing projects, ideas, hopes for a good, beautiful, clean and just future.
