Reggio Children | Loris Malaguzzi International Centre | Reggio Emilia Approach

A cycle of online initiatives to celebrate Loris Malaguzzi’s birthday

Last year we celebrated Loris Malaguzzi’s centenary with the conference “If the eye jumps over the wall” and a full program of events, initiatives, exhibitions and ateliers in Reggio Emilia. Then, the Covid-19 pandemic broke into all of our lives. Once the initial bewilderment was over, Reggio Children began working to create a digital ecosystem so as to continue to promote the Reggio Emilia Approach.

And with such a new digital identity, also this year we want to celebrate and remember Loris Malaguzzi with online events and initiatives

23 FEB

4:30-7:00 p.m.

Online meeting

Art interprets reality by offering new views, worlds and utopias that are often already the future. For this reason, we propose an idea of art that leaves the places representing it in the city – theatres, museums, galleries... – and crosses their boundaries: it achieves new spaces and projects, it spreads in the city, it enters schools to promote learning that connects different knowledge and to contribute to the construction of a thought capable of combining rationality and imagination.

Waiting for Reggionarra 2021

From Reggio Emilia an invitation to Italy, to Europe, to the World to discover once again the value and the magic of a tale thanks to these multiple voices that will light on The Night of Tales, like stars.

The Night of Tales: all at once, all at the same time – adults and children gather around stories, adventures and emotions to read, narrate and listen to.
