Isabella Meninno

Atelierista

Isabella Mennino has been an Atelierista with the Istituzione of Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres, municipality of Reggio Emilia since 1999.
Currently she is working in the role of atelierista with the municipal preschool and primary school at the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre in Reggio Emilia.

For Reggio Children she has collaborated on the realisation of publishing and exhibition projects, and on professional development initiatives.

Isabella studied for her Art Diploma, specialising in architecture, at Modena’s “A. Venturi” Art Institute. She then completed a course in Inkscape and Graphic Design at the A.G. Fronzoni Studio-Workshop in Milan.
Subsequently she participated in the Young Artists of Mediterranean Europe Biennial (BJEM) and worked in several architectural practices and graphic design studios.

She worked as atelierista in the Centre for Documentation and Educational Research, and again in the role of atelierista at the Diana, Anna Frank, Gulliver and Martiri di Sesso municipal preschools in Reggio Emilia.

She has worked for Reggio Children in the area of Exhibitions and Publishing, and in the Ateliers at the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre. 

She has collaborated on, participated in, and helped to curate, several educational and professional learning projects with Reggio Emilia’s municipal Istituzione of Preschools and Infant-toddler Centres, and with Reggio Children.
