Feltrinelli

 

The collaborative project with the Feltrinelli bookstores was designed to enhance the ways in which the stores, which are increasingly multi-media and varied in terms of spaces, are inhabited by children and adults. The project comprised three parts: research, training, and workshops with experimentation in the stores in Milan conducted by Reggio Children personnel.

The project also involved consulting for the design of the new “Feltrinelli Kidz” spaces for children, now widely present in stores across the country, and of the related communication.

Reggio Emilia – City of a Hundred Languages

 

A special welcome for children, families, and all those who come to Reggio Emilia to learn about the educational experience of the Municipal Infant-toddler Centers and Preschools.

 

A pedagogical and cultural project based on the image of a child who possesses enormous potentials for development and who is the subject of rights, who learns and grows in relationship with others.

 

Reggio Emilia becomes the natural site for the birth of the “city of a hundred languages”, a new project of collaboration between the Municipality, Reggio Children, the Friends of Reggio Children International Association, the Istituzione for the Municipal Infant-toddler Centers and Preschools, and the local trade and business associations.

 

The new brand “Reggio Emilia City of a Hundred Languages” is designed to recognize those who apply high quality standards in operating and managing commercial businesses in Reggio Emilia.

 

Appropriate furnishings, differentiated menus, environmental requirements, hospitality services, simple objects for entertainment, all conceived to create a child-friendly environment, to accompany children in their adventure of growth and learning by means of many languages.
