Second International Summer School
The International Summer School comes back for the second year and until the 15 of June it will give the possibility to about fifty participants from 17 countries, to know and study in depth the Reggio Emilia Approach, the International Centre Loris Malaguzzi, the town of Reggio Emilia and its province. In particular they will visit Ligonchio where the Atelier of Waters and Energies is hosted in the historical Enel Power Pantl, in the heart of the National Park of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
The participants to this Second International Summer School come from Australia, Canada, China, Colombia, Dubai, Germany, Japan, England, Israel, Italy, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, United States, Turkey, Uganda.
The group is composed by preschool teachers, directors, educators, professors, atelieristas, artists, students. Through seminars, plenary sessions, group works, animated workshops they will study the organizational structures, the contexts, the strategies, the study and the research of the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
Seminars, plenary sessions, group works, animated workshops: two weeks to give to the participants the possibility to learn in depth about the organizational structures, the contexts, the strategies, the study and the research of the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
A first part will be held in the town of Reggio Emilia, face to face with the community, the municipal preschools and infant-toddler centres, the city ateliers and the research projects done during the school year.
The second part will be organized in Ligonchio, face to face with its places, people and peculiarities: days of study, nature, research and also moments of amusement and entertainment..
This initiative will be also the occasion to present the activity of the new Tourist Village “Rifugio dell’Aquila”.
